State League 2 player Aaron Taye is set to play his 300th game in his next match. His side Gawler Eagles are due to face Cove this Saturday at Karbeethan Reserve.
Taye made his senior debut for Croydon in 2007, playing 28 matches over two seasons for the club.
He then moved to Raiders in 2008 playing 17 matches, followed by joining Adelaide Olympic in 2009 and Campbelltown City in 2010.
Taye had two stints at Salisbury United, first in 2011 and then from 2012 to 2014 amassing 93 matches for the club.
In 2012 he featured 11 times for Port Adelaide.
In 2015, Taye joined West Adelaide before moving to Adelaide Victory that same season.
In 2016, Taye joined White City, and then moved back to Adelaide Victory in 2017. During the season he joined Adelaide Cobras and remained the following season at the club.
Currently he has played 37 matches for Gawler.
Meanwhile, Thomas Briscoe (Cumberland) played his 300th game mid week, while Jacob Williams (Raiders) played his 200th game mid week.
Alexi Georgakopoulos (Vipers) is set to play his 100th game in his next match.
