Two Football SA match officials will make their Senior refereeing debuts this weekend, when Thomas Temby and Mon Khadka referee matches in Round 16 of the Women's National Premier League - SA competition.
Temby will take charge of Fulham United vs Football SA NTC on Friday night in the late kick-off at Parks Football Centre. Football SA NTC Girls currently sit fourth on the table, and a win against 8th-placed Fulham will see them consolidate their spot in a finals position.
Temby has been refereeing since 2015 and has featured on 44 matches in the NPL SA competition as an assistant referee. He is a member of the Football SA Referee Academy, and last year refereed the NPL Under 18's Grand Final between MetroStars & Adelaide Blue Eagles.
Khadka has the whistle for the Women's NPL match on Saturday evening between West Adelaide & Adelaide Comets, the second part of a double-header at TK Shutter Reserve. League leaders West Adelaide will be looking to extend their gap at the top of the table, while a result for Adelaide Comets will keep them in touch with the top four.
Khadka has been refereeing since 2019, and was the in the middle for the dramatic 2020 State League 2 Under 18 Grand Final between Pontian Eagles and Salisbury United last December.
