In a huge clash in terms of defining the season, Adelaide City hosts Salisbury Inter at Adelaide City Park on Saturday in Round 16 of the National Premier League – SA competition.
Inter, who last weekend won their first major trophy by beating Metro United in the Womens Cup Final, will be aiming to keep close to top of the table West Adelaide with a win over City. West Adelaide have a game in hand and are currently 5 points ahead of Inter. While Adelaide City will be hoping a win over Inter could see them challenge Inter for a top two finish.
Adelaide University and Metro United battle it out at Parks Football Centre on Friday evening, with Metro United having won 3 of their last 4 First Division league matches against Adelaide University. Their Round 12 encounter a month ago saw the teams share the points in a 1-1 draw at TK Shutter Reserve.
Football SA NTC will be looking for another win over bottom placed Fulham United as they aim to finish in the top 4 at season’s end. NTC have won 6 of their last 8 First Division league matches against Fulham.
Meanwhile, on Saturday evening, Adelaide Comets travel to Klemzig to take on top of the table West Adelaide, a side they have never beaten in league competition.
West Adelaide’s Nicole Tilley is set to play her 200th game in her next match.
